The creation of the insert element of the digipak

Below are the pages of the digipak insert, it contains the lyrics to the songs that are featured on the album itself and the band logo and also images that were taken by use to pull the whole product together. These pages will continue on from the front cover similarly seen in typical digipaks that are currently on the market;

Music video work in progress number 2....

After going through the progress of the music video before hand and speaking to the target audience that we gained previously, we have made corrections and improvements to it by taking into consideration what the aim of the music video is and what we want to achieve with it.

Updated album cover and magazine advert

After consulting the feedback that I got from my target audience, I have made corrections to both my digipak cover and the magazine advert. The changes that I have made include the images on the front of both.

Video of the testing the lighting colours within the location that we used for the filming of the music video and to take images for the digipak and the magazine advert.

Within this video it shows us changing the lighting colours and testing them against a brick wall. After taking the test shots we tried to work in our concept into the images however didn't like them.

In this video it shows the image that were taken throughout the day, we started off taking them on location in the schools assembly hall due to the lighting. However after having a good look at them we decided to mess around and take a few silly ones outside of the school which seemed to work really well and were in keeping with the genre of the music video.

Feeback from my target audience in relation to the changes that I need to make to the digipak and music magazine advert.

After showing my digipak and magazine advert to my target audience, I gained feedback that I wish to use to improve my final products and enhance them to the next level making them look like they would fit into the market straight away.

A few points that were made by my target audience include:
- That they were not keen on the images that were used throughout both the digipak and the magazine advert,
- The digipak needs to have more information to it.

To improve upon the points that have been made to me about my digipak and music magazine, I have decided to change the images that I am going to use of the final product due to the target audience believing that the band should be the centre of the product. I agree with what the target audience have said because they are the people that are going to be using and looking at the products that I will be creating. I will be using images that were taken during the filming of the music video itself, and I am also consulting with my partner whether or not to add an insert to the digipak itself in order to make it more interesting for the audience to use and to have.
In relation to having more information on the digipak itself, I did not show my target audience my recently updated digipak back so I believe that if they were to see that then they will agree that it looks a lot more realistic and a more like digipak that are currently on the market.
On the other hand, the feedback that I received about the CD itself was fantastic because they absolutely loved it, they loved the colours, the written font that I used and the realistic look given by the adult advisory logo and the copyright information.

The creation of my CD

I created this CD using Photoshop. I was inspired by the new Justin Bieber purpose album. I like this CD because it is simple and clean which the Digipak I have created. The digipak contains a simple black and white theme to it making it eye catching and keeping to the genre of the album. I like the font type that was used because it is like it someone has written the word 'purpose' on the front and it makes it simple and meaningful.
